                                       GraveTalk - Monday 2nd June, 10am at The HUB@St John's

Back in February the Pastoral Team held a GraveTalk event at Holy Trinity Church Hall. Over 20 people came along,                                                                                       and the overwhelming response was very positive, with people really enjoying the chance to discuss some subjects                                                                                         which can be tricky to broach, while enjoying some refreshments. Many of those who came last time were quite                                                                                               nervous about the subject, but most really enjoyed their conversations and there was a lot of laughter as well as food                                                                                   for thought.

The GraveTalk resource has been developed over many years by the Church of England Life Events Team and consists of a series of questions designed to open up the conversation around the subject of death and dying, but also around living life well.

It was so successful that we are holding another event, this time at The HUB@St John's on Monday 2nd June at 10.00 am

If you would like to come along  you would be very welcome. There is no pressure to speak and there are no right or wrong answer's. The questions are simply conversation starters. Many of those who participated have found that it gave them a prompt to go home and begin to talk to their family members.

We recognise that this is not a comfortable subject for everyone, and it might not be for you this time, but if you would like more information please contact Revd Lisa.
